Everyone is invited to come down to the Sea Otter West dock on sun May 30th 1pm - 5pm to meet us and join all the crew with hamburgers, hot dogs and refreshments. Our special guest, Sheppy, will be frying some turkeys and Capt. On Tue. we
had a couple flounder mixed in with the black fish, Wed., Fri., and Sat.
Bass were good with some fish to 20lbs., and Sat. we managed a pair of
4lb. fluke along with some other fish. Sunday the morning trip was slow
with a couple of shorts. Capt. Glenn took Jeff and his crew out on an
early bird and had nice action with top water plugs and fish to 12lbs.
on live bunker Sun. This week the night bite should be good on the other
side of the moon. Wed. full day, we will mix it up with some bass in the
first part and bottom fish in the afternoon. This Sat. May 22nd, we have
a full day charter but will sail open Sunday twice. We would also like
to invite all anglers and their families to come down to a little BBQ
we are having at the boat on May 30th, in the afternoon 1pm-5pm. ********************************************************** Date: 5-09-04 From: Lobster Man, <Lobsterrock2000@yahoo.com> Subject: Sea Otter West! This weeks night trips have had very good turn outs sailing all 3 nights, the bass have been a little finicky, with just one or two fish each trip. As the weather warms up they will start to bite better. On the bottom fishing end we have seen some 3-4 lb. blackfish and some keeper flounder come over the rail but nothing like the south shore boats. This week we are adding Wed. as a full day and start full days on Sat. as well. We will be checking our fluke spots out and will see if the bite is good enough to sail on Sat., (May 15th) for them just call near the end of the week 516 676-6361. ********************************************************** Date: 5-02-04 From: Lobster Man, <Lobsterrock2000@yahoo.com> Subject: Sea Otter West! First thing, on May 8th, we have an afternoon charter. So, as I said in a previous report we will not be full day black fishing, but we start the following Sat. Sorry for the false report. On the fishing end, we have been picking a few fish on the days we have gotten out but this week the bass have slowed down on the bite and our one blackfish trip we came short with a couple of fish between 4 & 5 lbs. On a brighter note, the weather is warming up and this should turn the fish back on. We also are looking to hold a little BBQ on Memorial Day for our regulars, anglers and there family's to come down to the boat and get acquainted with the Sea Otter West Crew! ********************************************************** (Click Here To Navigate Archived Reports - ( '04 Feb.-April, May, June, July, August, September, Oct - Dec, '04 ) ('05 March- May, June - July, Current Report '05) All rights reserved © 2005 Array, Inc. |
